Marine U7s 8, Indanet U7s 0
THE young Mariners maintained their good form with a comfortable victory against an inexperienced Indanet team.
From the first whistle Marine dominated proceedings but despite all of the possession they struggled to find a way past a resilient and compact Indanet defence.
As the game progressed the pressure began to take its toll and Marine began to take their chances. Goals from Max Smith, Andrew Begbie and another three from the in-form Bradley Roberts gave Marine a deserved 5-0 half-time lead.
With Marine cruising and all of the players playing their part, a few positional changes were made. The changes did not affect the Marine play too much and they continued to dominate.
Goalkeeper and MOM Paul Williams showed a lot of commitment and determination when given the chance to play up front and scored a great strikers goal. Max Smith and Bradley Roberts added another goal each as Marine eased to an 8-0 victory.
Credit to Indanet for never giving up and making Marine work hard for their goals. It was a great all round team performance from Marine and all of the boys should be proud of their efforts throughout the game. Colin Begbie
