JACK'S counting the hours to one of the highlights of his year.
The Summer Fun Run on Sunday will see 1,000 runners of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities come together for a three-mile jog or walk in Crosby village.

It's the fifth annual event, although it incorporates the ten-mile 'Crosby 10' which began in 1983, and each year it has grown, raising thousands of pounds for charity and putting the town under the media spotlight.
Runners will be given a yellow ribbon to wear on their wrist to show the world that Madeleine McCann is not forgotten. We'll also play Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds.
Jack's also excited about renewing his friendship with Kenny Dalglish who he has got to know through my involvement as organiser of the event which raises money for The Marina Dalglish Appeal. King Kenny is the main reason Jack is drifting across Stanley Park towards Anfield rather than his 'first love' Goodison Park.
But, it will be Madeleine who will be the star of the show as families clap and cheer their way across the start line in a show of community support with the McCanns.
For many parents it will be a poignant, emotional moment.

They had a famous FA Cup run in the early 1990s, eventually being knocked out by Crewe 3-1 in the 3rd round. Roly Howard was manager for a record 33 years (1972-2005), although he will always be remembered by some fans as Kenny Dalglish's window cleaner. TV presenter Ray Stubbs once asked: "How's business, Roly?" to which Roly replied "Oh you know - ups and downs."

Former players include Michael Ball (Everton and Rangers) and Stephen Wright (Liverpool and Sunderland). The club motto is 'To Enjoy, Not Destroy.'
