JACK watched his first Epsom Derby this afternoon and was excited to see the only jockey he knew - Frankie Dettori - romp home for his debut win in the famous race.
He was asking lots of questions. Why didn't the horses jump like in the Grand National? Does the winning 'driver' win a trophy?

Unfortunately, the BBC's live coverage was spoilt by Frankie running into the jockeys' room not only declaring 'Hey! Get the f***ing bubbly out' but also leading the pursuing camerman into the welcoming lap of a naked jockey without even a whip to hide his modesty.
'Wheeyhey!! What did Frankie say? And what's that?' asked Jack with a twinkle in his eye, as The Gaffer choked on her Double Decker.
'Dunno son. Ask yer mum.'
Ah, the perils of live telly.
